    Carmona's

Carmona's consistantly wins awards in the Terrell area for the best Mexican Food. The decor is nice and the menu varied. They even have items for vegetarians. Service was friendly and professional.

Favorite Dish: Try the Spinach Enchiladas, very tasty and healthy too.

    Pop's Honey Fried Chicken

by keeweechic Updated Oct 9, 2002

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Pop's seems to be a very popular hangout it seemed for Saturday lunch. On the menu were the delectable local delicacies of Livers and Gizzards along with the usual greazies of Catfish, Fries, Hamburgers and Chicken pieces (both light and dark) - no healthy living in this place. Uncle Wills Corner Bar-B-Q

Tucked away on the corner of a little back street is Uncle Wills (gosh is everyone in this town related?). A different menu exists here with ribs, beef, chicken and hot links. The unique thing about this little set up is that it looks like you can get your car washed and detailed while you dine.

    J. Pier Restaurant

by keeweechic Written Dec 20, 2003

Quite a unique 150 yr old building in downtown Terrell. This restaurant is full of alcoves, walkways and special seating areas which all lend themselves to create a cosy atmosphere. You can enjoy the basement which resembles a hidden room of a castle or the balcony with a view of the Queen Mary (mural on the wall).

Some of the specialities included Lemon Grilled Atlantic Salmo, Pan seared Sea Bass with artichokes and asparagus jus, and Oven Roasted Lobster Tail with citrus sauce. They also serve steaks.

Open for lunch Monday through Friday and dinner Monday through Saturday.

Stop and Go - now there's an original name. There are lots of little local places like this in Terrell. Just good for a quick stop and bit.
