This mustang horse sculpture is not far from the airport in a city called Las Calinas. You can see a movie how they were made and imported from Europe to the United States.

anything within walking distance of the Grassy Knoll, almost everything that looks slick, is. The going rate for even a really good hamburger with avacados and everything is about $6.00 if they are charging more then they suck... The guided tour at the Alamo in San Antonio. This is a historical building and any interested in US, Mexican or Texan history should visit here, but DO NOT TAKE THE GUIDED TOUR. This was the most boring tour I have ever been on.
Dallas and Houston are not relaxing places. Prices high, crowded, bad traffic. They have points of interest, but if I weren't going with a certain thing in mind to visit, I wouldn't go at all. The rest of Texas is roomier and friendlier. But Dallas and Houston are more high-energy 'party' towns if you like that sort of thing.
Dallas proper While someparts of downtown are nice most of dallas is rundown. The other surrounding cities have all the fun stuff with less traffic and cleaner facillities.
Well, for the exception of the cities, the State is definitly free of them. However, don't underestimate the cities for they hold several interesting activities worth a stop.

Any tour with the term Rodeo in it is BS. The only real Rodeos are in Feb-Mar and are held in DFW, Houston and San Antonio.
the leather industry is very big there make sure you get real leather and at a fair price.
