Probably my favorite arch. Follow the main road and turn right at the first intersection. Easy access, you have to walk 10 to 15 minutes

This is a park that really involves getting out of the car to experience but if that isn't possible, it has 18 miles (one-way) of paved road to some viewing points just short walks from the parking areas and along impressive rock formations you can see from the window. Some of the best of these are:

Viewpoints that are accessible to strollers and wheelchairs:
    Park Avenue
    Delicate Arch (lower)
Wolfe Ranch Cabin/petroglyphs (near Delicate Arch viewpoint)
    Balanced Rock

The landscape from behind the windshield is impressive practically anywhere but some of the best formations are:
    Three Gossips
    Courthouse Towers
    Tower of Babel
    Fiery Furnace

You will receive a park map with your entrance fee that marks where all of these are located. Do try and do your viewing from frequent pullouts and not by slowing to a crawl for a photo-op out the window. This route can be very busy so backing up tour buses and hikers trying to make tracks to the trailheads won't make you any friends and could even get you rear-ended. If intent on puttering, kindly use the pullouts to let speedier traffic by. And do pay attention to the cars in front of you: someone could make an abrupt slow-and-stop that won't be at all good for your car's front end if you're gazing at the scenery.

    Scenic Auto Route

    Three Gossips

There is an 18 mile long auto route with several stops along the way, some of which have very nice viewpoints. Although many of the views involve little or no walking, some hiking is required to really get a flavor for the park and to see the formations closer up.
