Favorite thing: On the way to Bryce, you'll drive by Red Canyon. This isn't as spectacular as Bryce itself, but you can just pull over and enjoy roadside scenery such as this.
Favorite thing: The main road through Bryce isn't very long, but it'll be one of the most memorable drive you'll take.
Feel the essence of time & our own mortality...
One can go to the bottom & explore though it's not an easy hike down.
Fly over it for those who can afford to do so & examine it from all angles...
The views are spectacular from the top!
Smell the air & capture the essence of nature...
Indulge yourself with the magnificence & glory of God!
Fondest memory: One of the most beautiful aspects of Bryce are the Hoodoos..strange psychedelic like sand castle structures...if feels like you're trapped in a Jimmie Hendrix Album covers.
Favorite thing: Explore the amphitheater on foot and spend some time admiring the hoodoos. Don't just rush through - if that's even possible. :) Photo: Navajo Loop Trail, Oct. '99
take in the views. Just spectacular.
Fondest memory: I like the fact that Ebeneezer Bryce, who the place is named after, described it as 'a helluva place to lose a cow'.
Fondest memory: For the first time standing up on the rim and gazing over the maze.... In the far distance there´s Aquarius Plateau, another sharp rim just like this one.
Fondest memory: Collapsing thankfully on one of the benches after hiking for a while. Good thing there is a road leading to the most spectacular viewpoints and trails....
Favorite thing: Bryce Canyon has always been a place of spectacular scenery. Therefore, it has shown up on commemorative postage stamps.
also look at the beautiful wildlife, for example Utah Prairie Dogs.
They seem to be very nosy, but in fact you are the nosy one!
Favorite thing: This is not a city or a town, to writte down about restaurants or hotels, therefore, I will just share some of my pictures with you, and let them do the talking.
Make a promise to return again one day :)))
Hopefully, I'll have another chance to see it up close.
Favorite thing: The view from the top is as amazing as those of the Grand Canyon & Red Rock Canyon. It's an experience of a lifetime!
