Edge of the Cedars State Park is located near Blanding, Utah in the southern part of the state. It is not that far from Arches, Bryce Canyon, Canyon Reef, and Canyonlands National Parks. The park preserves an ancient Puebloan Village occupied between 825 and 1125 AD. Start your tour of the park at the visitors center where you can tour the excellent museum, get information on how to best enjoy the park based on the time you have and your interests, and get answers to any questions you may have. Entrance fee is: $5 for Adults ($2.50 Utah seniors 62+); $3 for Children 6 to 18 and kids under 5 are free. Hours are: 9 AM to 5 PM Monday through Saturday. The park is closed on Sunday, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.

To me, this park was well worth the price of admission.
