Click on the map and check-out the bottom left hand corner for Page, Glen Canyon Dam, and Wahweap. Rainbow Bridge is near the coordinates J4. Navajo (the longest) and West Canyons are located on the south side of the lake between Wahweap and Rainbow Bridge. The 50 mile trip by water from Wahweap to Rainbow Bridge will take you about 2 hours each way if you go straight through and navigate correctly. The lake looks a lot different once you're on it. This map is missing large portions of the lake and the Recreation Area in the north and north-east but you will most likely only be going to the areas I mentioned or within that spread of territory. If not, then this map will be a start for you.
The best thing to do is get to one of the marinas by car and then explore the lake and canyons by boat or foot from there.

The best way to get around Lake Powell is a boat. You can rent a houseboat, but a reservation needs to be made at least a year in advance for some of the bigger houseboats. I know most of us do not know what we're doing next week much less next year, but believe me it's definitely worth it.
