It's a long way between restaurants.: Pack a Cooler with Food - Just in Case

by basstbn Written Mar 5, 2003

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

When you're driving through areas such as southeastern Utah, especially with children, it is a good idea to keep a cooler full of sandwich makings - just in case you find yourself unable to find a cafe or restaurant. On this occasion, we found a delightful picnic area along the San Juan River where the kids could run and play, and we could watch the rafters and kayakers float the river. (Cheap, too)

Their specialty is Rib eye Steak Dinner cooked on an open fire (cedar wood) and served in an Old Cowboy style.
It might seem to be expensive but it's 18oz. steak and the quality of meat is high and perfectly cooked.
