    Rock Climbing

    They really were doing that while I was on Potash Road, about 3 miles north of town. The picture was only of the ropes hanging. Shame, but the rock face is awesome

    This is in the Moab area of the desert section. I do not know how far they got, but had a good time.

    it;s great for hiking and climbing and camping! When you enter the park stop by the Information Office--they have maps with all hiking trails and places to see.

    Stop at Balanced Rock and think about for how many years we still will be able to enjoy this upper rock balancing on it's base. Walk around this fantastic formation. The views are always different.

    Start early in the morning to be back before noon as it gets really hot. Take enough water with you! The views from this arche into the mountains are just fantastic.
