Orem Restaurants

  • Oyster Bar

Magleby's is a very conscientiously run restaurant. The seafood is perfect, and the place has very nice elegant setting. The owner (Doc) takes a special interest in his guests, sometimes even coming to your table and chatting with, you (recommending a certain dish, and or even trying some of your dish just because he wants to see how *that one*...

  • Do not expect "authentic Mexican"

This is an ok place, but the food is - I would call it: "American Mexican"If you are looking for authentic Mexican flavour, you best try some other spot. Not fancy ambiance either... But an ok restaurant if you are in a hurry and craving some sort of a Mexican taste locally. As many restaurants in Utah, this one does not offer alcoholic...

  • Extraordinary health experience

I go to the gym in the morning,do about 45 minutes of hard cardio, hop on my car, ride under Utah's 100° heat, and there it is,beckoning: JAMBA JUICE!Can't believe someone didn't come up with this idea earlier: Jamba Juice makes healthy smoothies, breads, pretzels, and soups, and serves them up at really clean, friendly-looking, cafe-type...

  • Wow! I say "molcajete"!!!

The taste of home made authentic mexican food........!!!! Try the "molcajete Hiro" (a "molcajete" is the stone bowl or mortar and a pestle to grind chiles and spices used in Mexico and some other Latinamerican countries) and they bring one of those, filled with chorizo, chicken, Mexican cheese, steak and fabulous plump huge shrimp! served with...

  • A rich elegant experience

My husband and I are hooked on this restaurant! Is one of the best run places in the state of Utah. The service staff is knowledgeable and gracious (even with wine list - which is impressive to find anywhere in Mormon country!)From the fireplace glowing with the flames of huge candles to the mellow piano music or a hostess draping napkins in your...

this tip is in reference to two paintball places I talk about on my Sandy, Utah and Lehi, Utah pages... and it’s the the largest supplier of paintball gear to the state of Utah. So, now you know, if you are visiting Utah and go for some paintball games.... and you need your tank filled? Just take in your C02 or Nitrogen system to Pegleg’s place.... and you’ll be ready to go!
This guy must have a great sense of humor!!! (he’s actually handicap, his name is Dale) I had to take a pic of the store’s sign!!!
I read that paintball is the most important aspect of his life. And he has a collection of paintball guns, gear and memorabilia, of which he has enough to open a museum!!! you can see more about that at: www.paintballmuseum.com
Pegleg Paintball is located at 1036 South State St.

Favorite thing: Founded in 1933, and serving as Orem City's arts council since 1983, SCERA is a non profit charitable organization dedicated to youth job training and the development and advancement of culture, education, recreation and family entertainment. It hosts both indoor and outdoor entertainment all year long. SCERA Center events include the annual Timpanogos Storytelling Festival, designed for the whole family with wonderful stories and music. Orem also hosts the Family Summer Fest in June, held at the City Park for two days of parades and fireworks, food, games and displays of local talent.
