Ski in Heaven at Deer Valley Ski Resort!

    by Dazzle88 Written Mar 31, 2004

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Well, Park City is all about the skiing (and snowboarding, of course) The Best Place to do this is at Deer Valley Ski Resort. Park City contains many other resorts but this one is by far the nicest, and attracts the most vacationers! Unfortunatly Deer Valley is not open to snowboarders. But it was soo beautiful! I skiied there for five days straight! Also the best food is served at Deer Valley, simply divine!

Equipment: You either bring your own skis, boots, and poles or you can rent them for a fee of $40. The price to ski at Deer Valley for one day is (adult) $70.

  • A Ski Vacation in Park City

by jasonmarsh Written Oct 8, 2009

Park City Resort in Utah is also one of the top ski resorts in America. This beautiful ski resort offers ski and snowboarding lessons for kids, groups, or individuals. It also features a NASTAR racecourse, a tubing park, sleigh rides, snowmobiling, dogsled rides, hot air ballooning, snowshoeing, and winter fly-fishing. The Alpine Coaster is a fast ride that allows you to enjoy the majestic scenery as you descend down the mountain. After your fun day of activities, you can relax in the Legends Bar and Grill and enjoy a drink and great food.

Great Information for Any Ski Resort!

by GracesTrips Written Jan 24, 2015

Going to Park City in March had me wondering how the skiing might be, will there be enough snow. And, voila, I found this great website that shows you the historical snow fall for any of the ski resorts and webcams. Wow, very impressive and will help me plan my next ski trip after this one!

    Ski at Park City

by GracesTrips Updated Mar 22, 2015

We visited Park City for the first time in March 2015. Lift ticket prices are quite high during the month of March (I thought) but good for both Park City Mountain and Canyons Resort. The weather was unseasonably warm. But, they seem to have plenty of snow. Since we had sunny conditions, the snow got slushy fast. Nice resort with lots of ski runs.

Buying your tickets in advance is a huge savings discounted up to 25% from the walk up window purchase price.

    Ski at Deer Valley

by GracesTrips Updated Mar 22, 2015

Even though skiing in Park City/Deer Valley in March 2015 was unseasonably warm and the ski conditions was not great, we thought the skiing was better at Snow Park Lodge at Deer Valley. It's quite expensive to ski there but it was much nicer. They have complimentary ski and boot storage. Lots of places to dine at (also very expensive). Lots of areas to relax. In 2015, an adult ticket cost $114.00.
