The best thing about the bus system here is that they are FREE! There is a summer and winter schedule so make sure you find out what schedule we are on and note if the stop by your location is open. If you have a bag over your stop - it is closed. The playing of radios, cassettes or CD'S without earphones, smoking, eating, drinking, and animals (except guide dogs) are not allowed on Park City Transit buses.

Recorded Transit information may be obtained by calling (435)615-5350. You may call the Customer Service Desk at Public Works (435) 615-5301, Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. to speak with a transit representative. You may also write to Park City Transit at 1053 Ironhorse Dr., P.O. Box 1480, Park City, Utah 84060-1480.

The FREE bus system operates every day from 7:30 a.m. until 10:30 p.m. in the local area and from 7:40 a.m. to 8:55 p.m. (last departure from the Transit Center) to the outlying Summit County Areas

The Historic Main Street Trolley operates every day from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.

If you're staying in town just ride the free Park City Bus system. If you are traveling to Park City from the airport I suggest using Park City Transportation, Inc. They provide shuttle service to and from Park City. www.parkcitytransportation.com

While on MainStreet or around town it's easy to pick up a cab. I suggest Citiride or Powder for the People. Both are listed in the phone book.

I wish this were true, that you would be able to wait at the ballon stop (like bus stop) and at set times they would glide down and take you away to your next stop.
In the picture you can see the ballon that took off before us.

Fly in to Salt Lake City and then it's about an hour drive (if I remember correctly) to Park City.
Best way is to rent your own vehicle. Especially if you'll be skiing at all the different resorts.
