Antelope Island Visitor Center: A neat little find!

This Visitor Center has a lovely gift shop with lots of educational toys and information for the little ones and lets not forget the big kids:)Hours are 9 am- 5 pm.Plus, many exhibits that explain how Antelope Island evolved into what it is today and a video presentation of the history of the park also. They even have some very lovely areas where you can take some great shots. The Gateway: Upscale Shopping

This was a surprize to see. I knew they built a new open air mall connecting itself to the Historical Union Station. It's a very beautiful mall that has plenty of well known stores and brands. It has lots of restaurants and seems to be a hangout for entertainment also. It has escalators and elevators for those who need the extra assistance to get to the second floor. Something that is very unique is the new train station is near and they have these new condos and apartments right across from them. Plus it has this very unique dancing water foutain at the front entrance to the mall from the Union Station entrance. It also where you can see the Olymic Bronze Statue and wall of dedication for the 2002 Winter Games.REGULAR HOURS:Monday-SaturdaySunday 10am-9pm12pm-6pm *Shop extended hours during the summer and holidays. If you are driving by Green River, Utah in August, stop buy and buy reasonably priced fresh watermelon, cantaloupe, or other varieties directly from the growers. In the middle of town, the prices were lower than on the eges of town by the I-70 exits. 3 cantaloupes for $1

A Variety of Artists & Vendors: Interstate Vendors

You can buy interesting arts and crafts. You shouldn’t have trouble finding the vendors. Just look beneath the “no vending or soliciting” sign at the view stops along I-70. We were headed eastbound out of Salina, Utah. Native Arts & Jewelry - horsehair pottery Actually, from what I saw, all 10 of the vendors had decent prices... if you are in the market.
