Take a Shower!
blueskyjohn Says:
If you are camping in Zion National Park you may want/need to take a shower. Always an issue of trying to find a nice clean place. The place I use to go to in Springdale no longer offers showers to the public. I checked with the local outdoor store and they gave me a few...

Amigo's: Good Mexican Food
Basaic Says:
Anigo's is on the main street through town near the entrance to Zion National Park. They serve a variety of Mexican dishes, and serve Margaritas (mine was a little weak and expensive). If weather permits, sit on the patio. The food was good and the service was okay. Worth a...
Historic Pioneer Restaurant: Historic Restaurant
Basaic Says:
The decor was an interesting bit of nostalgia. Looked like an old farm. They had a neat old bicycle, the type with a very large front wheel and a small back wheel and something I have never seen before. It looked like a child's version of the bicycle. Staff was okay.
I had...

Even off-season, the parking area near the Zion National Park Visitor's Center can get crowded quickly. Consider parking in town and taking the shuttle as an alternative.

Zion Outdoor: Outdoor gear shop

Flash floods in the Narrows!! ...
Helpfulness
worldtrekker 666 reviews
Flash floods in the Narrows!! Make sure you speak with a ranger at the Visitor Center before attempting the hike into the Narrows - even if you're only going in for a couple of miles. Between late July and early September it can be closed to hiking because of flood danger. It may not be raining where you are but it could be somewhere upstream and that can be very dangerous. It's not worth the risk if the weather isn't cooperating. A major factor to the danger is that the canyon gets very narrow and the water coming through will rise quickly and can carry large objects with it including fallen trees, boulders, etc. The force can be immense.
