Bit and Spur: Good meal, slightly expensive.
Friendly host and waiting staff. Large amounts of food. Vegetarian options. Wine and alcoholic drinks available. Slightly on the expensive side - paid $42 pp for shared appetizer and main course each with 1 bottle of wine. Convenient location. Zion shuttle bus stops right outside. Opens at 5:00pm, as other restaurants in the area do. Some interesting art all around, including the bathroom.
We had a late lunch after a long day of touring. The menu is varied, a tad bit expensive, and tasty. Dinner would probably be overpriced and overrated, but it's a lodge dining room, what else would you expect?
Just outside the park boundary, accessed by way of a small footbridge, one can go to Springdale and hit the coffeeshop/cafe that is right there, or drive out and choose from a large number of restaurants. It is a tourist town offering just about everything. Nice and unexpected!

The only place inside the park...
The only place inside the park that you can buy food is the Zion Lodge. The is also a nice gift shop. But if the weather is fine a picnic is much nicer
Favorite Dish: My daughter had a pizza which looked very tasty
