    For many years, the citizens of Williston have put down county plans to put super-malls within the town limits. Finally the powers-that-be, found a way to preserve the towns local flavor and yet introduce name-brand stores to the area.

    Strips malls near the I-89 exits now have Target and WalMart outlets to bring economical goods to the local population without spoiling the small town ambiance.

    no murders, 3 rapes, 6 robberies.
    That is the extent of the violent crimes in Williston over the last 6 years.

    The only crime of any frequency in the area is petty theft (like shoplifting).

    Williston places in the top 15% of safe cities in the U.S.

    Just use common sense, lock doors and be aware of your surroundings, and know where the kids are and you should feel safe in this town.
