I'm not talking about the beautiful waves on our gorgeous beach.
I'm talking a friendly wave of the hand whilst driving.
Locals all wave to each other even if we dont know who it is we are waving to. Not great big over zealous shaking of hand, more a gentle Hi there.
The Chincoteague Saltwater Cowboys are a unique breed. Each year they round up the famous Chincoteague wild ponies. When they are not busy with the pony penning they still lead intersesting all American lives. Most are firefighters, many are seaman, some are ferriers.
These men give to the community in many ways. They are our local celebrities.
You can see them ride and roundup every year in late July.

This place wonderful, the ice cream was so fresh with fresh fruit. The Victorian style parlor was just perfect in detail, the front had nice little tables with lit by candles. Antigue ice cream makers. They also have other foods, belgian waffles with ice cream, fountain sodas and frozen yogurt, very clean and good!
This home was built in 1875 by William F. Cropper, the town cabinetmaker and undertaker.
