We took a casual drive through the resort properites looking for 'building' ideas for a future retirement property. We found this jewel pictured. The owner has contracted a sculptor creating a 'grand entrance' to his estate.

Quick shortcut to Valley Mall from Port Republic Road - just past the Interstate 81 interchange going towards the apartment complexes, make a turn onto Forest Hill Drive (a Liberty gas station is at this corner as well). At the next stop sign make a left, and then as you follow the road you'll pass by James Madison University's Convocation Center and the JMU Arboretum. After passing JMU, continue on this road, and you'll be right at the mall.
