    Dulles Town Centre: More shopping!

by bugalugs Written May 1, 2005

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

If you dont find what you are looking for at the designer outlet then pop over to the Dulles Town Centre shopping mall. Over 120 stores. Such shops as JC Penney, Hecht's, Gap, Abercrombie and Fitch, H & M, Nordstrom and Sears.

What to buy: We bought some lovely towels really good quality from Sear's and much cheaper than we would have paid in the UK. The lovely lady assistant also gave us money off coupons so we got them even cheaper.

    Open
    Monday-saturday 10am-9.30pm
    Sunday 11am-7pm

Leesburg Corner Premium Outlet: Dont forget your credit card

by bugalugs Updated Apr 30, 2005

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

When we visited Leesburg this was to be our first port of call. My son and his friend were itching to spend the rest of their holiday cash before returning home the following day.

In England we dont get the bargains that you can get in these designer outlets in the US.
Such stores as Timberland, Nike, Adidas, Tommy Hilfiger and Greg Norman to name but a few.

What to buy: I dont know whether some of the items on the shops are discontinued stock but the prices are certainly good. My son and his friend both bought boots at half the price they would have paid in the UK. My husband bought some sweaters Tommy Hilfiger that were about $20 each!

What to pay: Dont forgot to pick up a VIP coupon book from the information desk at the outlet, this entitles you to even more discounts either a percentage of your total spend or actual $ of your total spend.

Black Shutter Antique Center: Stroll through the Antique Shops

    Black Shutter Antique Center

The Black Shutter Antique Shop is in an historic home that is very well preserved and a delight to visit, even if just for viewing the architecture of the home.
Downstairs there is a nice display that describes the builder of the home and the families that have lived there.
We were amazed by how busy and bustling the antique shops were in Leesburg. Even though it was a rainy, cold day the town was full of shoppers.

What to buy: There are specialty shops galore in this wonderful town.
