What to buy: I've bought things such as crab soup and Virginia ham at the Virginia Company, and you can also get Christmas Tree ornaments and pillows decorated with the logos of various Virginia educational institutions. I gave a pillow and a Christmas Tree ornament from Virginia Tech to my daughter and SIL who graduated from there.
Both the Virginia Company and Lillian Vernon have catalogs.
