The gallery exhibits the artwork of the Charlotte Hotel(which is next door)'s owner Charlotte Heath. Charlotte’s botanical watercolors have been exhibited in many galleries across the country, from New York to Oregon. All of the art is available for purchase, including the pieces throughout the hotel.
“Dinner in the Gallery” is available by prior arrangement for groups up to 25 for a nominal extra fee. You will dine in the privacy of Charlotte’s art gallery after regular business hours.
In Onancock, there is at least one old time general store (House of Deals - Trust Worthy Hardware) which sold a little bit of everything. Bob said they had steamer clams (manoes) in there and there were vegetables, fruit and flowers displayed out front.

There's a game of Crazy Eights that’s been going on 15 years. According to the store owner Rosalie Lewis "It keeps some of them old watermen out of trouble, that’s all.”

boating repair parts, and garden and decorative items. Slso carry fresh, locally grown produce,
fresh fish, ice cream, cheese and drinks.
