Inside the Visitors Center is a nice museum with lots of neat artifacts about Henry and his life, along with life in this part of Virginia around the Revolutionary War.
Since it was called Patrick Henrt National Memorial, like some of the sites under the National Park Service, I thought this was part of the NPS too. I was wring, this site is privately pwned. It is still worth a visit though. Patrick Henry was a lawyer, a talented speaker and a patriot during the American Revolution. His most famous quote is "...as for me give me liberty or give me death". Begin your tour at the visitors center where you will pay the entrance fee of $6 (as of February 2013) and get a brochure and a map telling you what you can see here.
