This 11-story twin office buildings incorporated shops, restaurants, movie theater, and a 519-room Hyatt Regency Hotel. Since 1997, Phase Two was built with additional high-profile tenants located within the office towers and more retail upscale residential townhouses, condos and apartments. You cannot tell from the office business and the condos, it all blends nicely together.

This lovely statue & fountain graces the main entrance of Reston Town Center. It is so beautiful during the day, but at night, just gorgeous!
One Fountain Square Pavillon is located in Reston Town Center. It is an open-air pavilion that has year-round events, including a "free summer concert series", wine tasting, an arts festival and seasonal ice skating. The night we were there they had a fantastic jazz band that every young and wise (my alternate word for senior) were having a great time.
Who doesn't like to take in a movie or two. What a beautiful location to enjoy one. See a movie, enjoy a dinner and then do some shopping or better yet, watch some of the wonderful outdoor entertainment they have here year long practically.

Great Falls Park, just north of Reston on VA 193, is one of the best parks in the Washington DC metro area. You can spend quite a time hiking around the visitor center and Mather Gorge. Three overlooks allow for great views of the falls, and a visitor center explains local history, including the construction of the Potowmack Canal.
