Bahama Joe's, Richmond
Bahama Joe's has been a few different nightclubs over the past 4 years. It started out as Little Texas, which was a nightclub that focused on a southern theme with regular pop and rap music. After 2 more buyouts the club now finds itself named Bahama Joe's. It is pretty much the same on the inside it has just changed management and owners. The new owners have cleaned the place up alot, and now the club is one of the hottest in Richmond on a weekend. On Friday and Saturday nights the local radio stations like Q-94 come and broadcast live from there, and give away free gifts. The club boast a pretty decent array of lighting and has a smoke machine. The club plays primarily new age pop music, and hip hop, but is also known to take it back a notch and play older music for nights when older crowds come out to enjoy themselves. It is 2 stories with 2 dance cages on the second floor, and it has 2 bars one upstairs and one downstairs. Overall I like the club, but it is no Tiki Bob's or Have a Nice Day Cafe. I would rate it 4 of 5 if there were a ratings for nightclubs. Visit the club's website because it has specific themes for specific nights
Dress Code: The dress code is typical dance club attire. Try not to wear tanktops or skimpy clothes. The club likes people to look presentable, even though you are there to have a good time.
John from Atlanta and I'm looking for the 4 ladys that gave me a ride to my hotel Friday at closing time 12/15/06. Please email me at email@example.com
Don't count on any help from the club finding a cab. I was stuck there and 4 very nice ladys gave me a ride to my hotel, I was visiting from Atlanta. The music was good, I had a great time at the club, and a better time meeting those wonderful ladys. Please contact me if you can get me in touch with them.
