Cary Court is a small, cozy, old fashioned true neighbourhood shopping centre (as opposed to Gayton Crossing in the West End which plays one on TV). There are less than 10 shops here, among which are Creatures 'n Crooks (a bookstore), Hair Cuttery, Richmond Camera, and Pink (a women's clothing store). This shopping centre stands out because of its art deco design and its genuine air.

Chocoholics unite! If you love chocolate and savor each delectable, yummy piece, if you're visiting Richmond, you may want to drop by this "Death By Chocolate" shop. It has every type of chocolate you could ever want from all over the world. They come in bars, squares, seashell shapes, etc., Jars and jars of candies line the shelves. Calling out your name are the scrumptious Leonidas chocolates. These fine, fine confections are waiting for you behind the glass cases, shipped fresh from Belgium each week. Plus, pretzels, strawberries, Rice Crispy treats dipped in what else? There's also cocoa powder mixes, different types of colored sugars for decorating cookies/cakes. They also have lollipops, an assortment of hard-candies, and quite a selection of candies from when I was a kid. Talk about nostalgia!
What to buy: The Leonidas chocolates from Belgium, yup, the ones behind the glass case are customer-favorites. When I came here I bought one of my faves, a bar of good ol' Violet Crumble (from lovely Oz of course), a couple of Raffaelos (a crispy, crunchy, creamy almond coconut treat), two mini Leonidas milk chocolate squares and two other chocolate squares from E.Guittard & Dolfin.
What to pay: My Violent Crumble bar $1.50, the Raffaelos were 40 cents each and the chocolate squares range from 40 to 70 cents each. From cheap to quite expensive ($40/lb of chocs.)
