Southside Plaza is a strip mall on Richmond's south side (south of the James River). Its principal tenants are Farmer's Foods and CVS drug & pharmacy among smaller stores. Like many places, Southside Plaza has seen better days. It used to be anchored by the (now defunct) Miller & Rhoads department store and S & W Cafeteria as well as Ward's T.V. There was also the Plaza Theatre which was a drive-in movie house. Now that the neighbourhood has gone dodgy, key tenants either went out of business or moved elsewhere.
