The St. John's Church Gift Shop is on the church grounds in a small white building with stained glass over the doors. It is smaller than most museum gift shops. It has a lot to offer. It sells Christmas ornaments, postcards, picture books, t-shirts, and all manner of gifts. Oddly enough, while it does feature busts of George Washington and Thomas Jefferson, it does not have any of Patrick Henry. Were it not for the Give me liberty or give me death speech, St. John's would be just another house of worship on Church Hill. If you want to take the tour, you buy those tickets at $5 a pop.
What to buy: I bought a postcard and I saw a Christmas ornament I would like to give.
What to pay: As in most museum gift shops, the prices are overly inflated, but those profits probably go to maintain the church for the congregation.
