Traveling in Richmond as in most medium sized US cities, a car is a must. Public transportation is very limited, bus and taxi only, and the routes and schedules are difficult to determine. Due to distances, taxis can get expensive. I recommend renting a car.

Charters, limos, specialised transport, and most car hires run throughout the Richmond area. For rides to and from the airport, rely on taxi companies or Groome Transportation.
