In case I'm not around to give you the grand tour Richmond Tours is operated by James River Bus Lines and it offers a 2-hour tour for $23 and a 3-hour tour for $25. (Unit pricing the cost per hour, taking the 3-hour tour would actually give you more bang for the buck.) In the 3-hour tour, they will show you things like Farmer's Market, Tredegar Iron Works, and Hollywood Cemetery. You will tour the Capitol Building, Then see Jackson Ward and Maggie Walker's House. The 2-hour riding tour gives you a chance to see some of Richmond's more prominent historic sites like St. John's Church and Monument Avenue. Both tours begin pickups at these locations:

Richmond Visitor Center: 405 N. 3rd Street, Jefferson Hotel: Franklin & Adams Streets, Omni Hotel: Cary and 12th Streets, Civil War Visitor Center: Tredegar Location. The Omni is not a ticket sales location. You need to have already purchased your ticket from there: it is always advisable to prepay your tickets regardless of pickup location in case of any sudden rules change.

The 3-hour tour begins pickups at 9:15 and the 2-hour tours start pickups at 1:30pm at these same locations.
