Keep an eye out for police!

If you're going out on the town here or in any town in Virginia, there are a few things to remember:

1: Radar Detectors are illegal. I think VA is one of the last states that doesn't allow them.

2: The DUI limit here is ridiculously low. At .06, I think its like 1 3/4 beers, which, we all know, is just an alcoholic appetizer. If you do plan on getting wasted, take a cab. But if you plan on drinking a normal martini or two, watch out, because according to VA law, you shouldn't be driving. In Roanoke, be aware of the Tanglewood/419 area between 11PM and 2AM, especially at Ogden Rd, Starkey, and Colonial and 419.... they try to get you at any of these intersections.

Be careful when driving around the downtown area about the stop signs! Some are hard to spot, and it's easy to run them.
