    If your kids like haunted houses, like most kids do, and you as parent or elders to younger siblings, don't you just love to hear them SCREAM! Yes you do! So if it's to hot outside for you and the kids are complaining it's to hot, there is an option to take them to what could be a cooler place or a screaming fest. Another idea to keep the kids happy and make you laugh!

    Every morning and early evening you will find many people walking their dogs along the boardwalk. Not sure if this is for exercising the dog or the human, but not a bad idea if you bring your pet, to take them for a walk.

    This was a nice little ice cream shop, tasty and clean. Very friendly people, fast service and good price. Located on the boardwalk around the middle.

    • Pick up a Virginia Beach Visitors Guide, packed with information about the area, also inside is a plastic credit card type card called the Vacation Discount Card. This card is accepted in so many places, shops, restaurants, cruising, parasailing etc. Which will entitle you to good discounts, From $1 of a meal to buy one meal get another free!
    There are also coupons to cut out of the magazine.

    • People here for the most part are very nice and courteous just watch out for the other drivers since there is a lot of out of state drivers due to military bases here. just watch out for yourself

    Despite one of the locals on here that claim they do not like tourists, talk to the locals about what there is to do in VA Beach. My family got a lot of great tips on where to go to rent bikes or buy a cruise because it was a lot cheaper than the what brochures in the lobby advertised!
