You have to go to the Aquarium while your at the beach, that is a definite must. We took my Mother-n- Law there, it was her first Aquarium. My daughter, Noel, enjoyed showing her grandma around and playing tour guide.

this aquarium is awesome. There are touch tanks and sharks...go to the Aquarium when at the beach...

Take a journey of water through Virginia's marine environment and catch a glimpse into a world seldom seen by many!

The Virginia Marine Science Museum is one of the top aquariums in the country with more than 800,000 gallons of aquariums and live animal habitats, over 300 hands-on exhibits, an outdoor aviary, ten acres of marsh habitat and a 1/3-mile nature trail. Getting to know the area's real "locals" which make Virginia's waters their home has never been more fun. Animal highlights include sharks, sea turtles, harbor seals, river otters, stingrays and more. Seasonal whale and dolphin watching boat trips, and pontoon boat trips take you to the animals for a truly educational adventure and much more!

Shows water fowl, plants and animals of the area. Nice place to relax when it is raining on a hot summer day. Get to pet a sting ray. They are so soft! Be sure to check out a movie in the Imaxx theater while you are there.

    Virginia Marine Science Musuem.
They have exhibits of aquatic life specializing in the Chesapeake Bay area. Many of the exhibits are hands on so they are great for kids. They also have a I-Max theater there.
