    Public Transportation Wave

by robertnavy Updated Mar 11, 2007

Dont use taxi if possible gets expensive esp,, if goin from norfolk to oceanfront can cost $50 + so i reccommend the buses and the wave on the beach does take longer on HRT bus but only cost $1.50 also your personal vehicle or rental is good Atlantic ave street very crowded on roads during the summertime and watch your speed

Walking up and down the main Strip in VAB

    by butterflykizzez04 Written Apr 6, 2005

While staying on the oceanfront, it is best to either walk or use the WAVE bus/Trolley system. It is very cheap. This helps with the traffic problem on the oceanfront side.

Because it was preseason, the bus/trolley system wasn't running, so we walked.

Now if your going to one of the many shopping centers in the town area of virginia beach away from the tourist oceanfront, then you need to use your car.
