Favorite thing: There were lots of interesting animals at Busch Gardens. i had the opportunity to take photos of many of them, however the signature animals (clydesdales) the photo didnt turn out. I'm an animal person and enjoyed my experiences with them immensely/
Fondest memory: My fondest memory of the whole virginia area was the flowers! I was there just as spring really started giving some beautiful flowers. Being from hawaii (a non-seasonal state,) I really enjoyed seeing the tulips, daffofills and snapdragons. Very Different from the Tropical plants found at home.

Favorite thing: If it's possible, I reccommend coming to Colonial Williamsburg both in the summer, as well as in December. The summertime is the best time to really explore the village, see the sites, and participate in many activities.
However, there are also activities in the wintertime, and in December, the appearance of the village changes. They don't use Christmas trees, but they do use pine branches, decorated with fruits (such as oranges, apples, pineapples, etc.), and place them on/above the doors to the buildings, as well as inside (see the picture). They can be very impressive! There are also torches that they light at night that make the village very beautiful. They also sing Christmas carols! Colonial Williamsburg is a great place to get you into the Christmas Spirit!
