    Chipotle: Chipotle

OK, so this isn't very unique--in fact, it's a national chain. But this is unlike any fast food you've had.

Favorite Dish: They serve only burritos and tacos, plus tortilla chips. Everything is fresh and made to order and delicious! My favorite is the barbacoa.

    Kinkead's
Lots of power lunches take place at this popular seafood restaurant. Dowstairs is a semi-casual bar and upstairs an ultra-formal dining area.

    Favorite Dish: Potato-Crusted Mahi-Mahi.

consecutive winner of washington's best bargain restaurant

Favorite Dish: It is a Vietnamese restaurant that only serves noodles. Very cheap. US$7 for a bowl of large noodles and you can choose raw or well done beef. It's always packed weekdays during lunch and dinner time.

Food stores kitty korner to the Chevy Chase Pavillion Embassy Suites
Eating at restaurants every night while you are on the road can be miserable. So, the great thing about the Embassy Suites Chevy Chase Pavillin is that each room has a microwave and a small refridgerator. There is a food store kitty korner to the Embassy Suites and also a fabulous cafe/bakery with great foods. So, you can get some fruit at the store, a microwave dinner, or some fresh bread and salad and have a nice quiet meal in your room.

    Favorite Dish: Anything!

Favorite Dish: We dined at Penang Restaurant, an exotic Malaysian cuisine. We sampled fried red snapper showered with spicy sauce, chicken with asparagus and chicken with black curry sauce. For our appetizers, we shared a big bowl of mild spicy noodle/seafood soup and a plate of fried squid. And we side ordered chicken rice, cooked in a chicken broth. White or brown rice is also available.

If you're adventurous enough and want to sample the many different types of cuisines... from American, French, Spanish to the ethnic ones like Chinese, Ethiopian (!!), Indian etc, then you must check out the Adams-Morgan area. Lots and lots of lovely eateries and restaurants can be found here!

You may wish to drop off at the Dupont Circle Metro station and make your way from there...

Or you may wish to hop onto a cab instead.... It won't cost you a bomb...unless if you staying way, way out of the city area. Enjoy your meal...!

We went to Unos-just down the street from the national Zoo. It was one of the few restaurants in the area that served normal food but their food was excellent and dependable

Favorite Dish: Pizza-the special is different every day and reasonable and plentiful

Went to dinner at Chevy's Mexican Restaurant across from Pentagon City Mall and Ritz Carlton. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. All entrees under $ 13.00 and incredible size portions. Service left a little to be desired. Margaritas and fabulous deserts.
