    Teasim: tea for two!

    Dupont Circle branch

You can order tea to drink inhouse or to take away for the complimenting time of the year or mood you are in. A not too small menu offers many food selections from curries, to veggie dishes and desserts.
You recieve a number and are called to collect your order if it is perpared...in the meantime you may find a place to sit, in summer outside of course.
It is a fast way to lunch, dine, eat especially at its location near the Mall after a museums visit, or at Dupont Circle location.
    A giftshop too.

Favorite Dish: Freshly cooked Thai Curry, any tea...

One of three outposts in Washington, DC, this one is near Dupont Circle. It is ideally situated for a refreshing break after some shopping or a visit to the Philips Art Gallery nearby.

    Favorite Dish: The jasmine tea!

    Off to Teaism!

My mother ha been bringing me back tea from here for many years now. If you love tea (or even if you don't!) This place is so fulfilling. The breakfast foods are unique, but simple enough to be tasty. Lunch is nice as well, but I didn't personally experience it.

Favorite Dish: I had the cilantro scrambled eggs and tea smoked salmon at the Dupont Circle local. I had the Star of Africa (which is actually a Tisane, Rooibos from South Africa) teas and bought a pack later at the one near the Navy museum.

    Teaism: Teaism

Teaism is a neat twist on the traditional coffee cafe. Instead of coffee, they serve tea. And instead of coffee cakes & desert foods, they serve tasy Asian food. I had a wonderful teryiaki salmon and I really enjoyed it. Also, take note! They do take out here too.

Favorite Dish: All I've had is the Fish Bento Box, but it was quite tasty!
