    Favorite Dish: APPETIZER:
    Spinach & Artichoke dip with chips.
    (This was SO GOOD. One of the best dips SpinDips I've ever tasted - really.)

    DINNER/ENTREE:
    Fish & Chips
    Filets of North Atlantic Pollock, dipped in beer batter and deep fried until golden brown, served with french fries, coleslaw, pickle, and lemon wedges.

    BEER SELECTION:
    Auld Dubliner Amber Ale

    Enjoy the scene on Massachusetts Avenue.

    This is a really cool place to eat. Very old Irish Pub style. Be patient and wait for a table to sit outside and watch the world pass by.

    Have a Smithwicks or a Guiness and definitely have the Guiness Burger it is very tasty. There is live music sometimes inside.

    Favorite Dish: GUINNESS BURGER
    Cooked to order and served on top of a potato pancake with Welsh cheese sauce, topped with onion straws.

    If you work or visit the Capitol Hill area, you learn very quickly about the prominence of the Phoenix Park Hotel's noted restaurant. Rub elbows with Washington's power elite, enjoy the free-flowing spirits (not to mention its free-flowing Irish spirit), eat delicious pub fare, listen to live Irish entertainment and choose from a vast selection of beers and ales.

    Favorite Dish: Try the Entrecote Jameson New York Strip Sirloin (it's seared with fresh crushed peppercorns and garlic, flamed with Jameson's Irish Whiskey, finished with cream & diced tomatoes and comes with a baked potato, cauliflower and roll). Wash it down with a Black & Tan (with Guinness as the base). Another awesome selection is the Dubliner Special (beer batter fried catfish and scallop nuggets, shoestring french fries and cole slaw) with tartar sauce.
