FBI Headquarters, Washington D.C.
A free visit of near 1:15. A comment by an agent on the different fields on which the FBI is competent and on some famous affaires. Then a demonstration of sharp shooting (revolver and machine gun). The agent never misses the target. And he explains to the children, it is dangerous to touch a weapon.
I asked him how many fire weapons are registred for private persons. He answered he has personaly 6 arms and only one is registred because it is not compulsory. Consequently, he ignored how many fire arms are owned by private citizens. It means some million ....
We took a tour of the FBI building. It was quite interesting, you can see an enormous quantity of confiscated weapons, and a collection of extremely expensive garish jewelry, confiscated from drug lords. You also get a firearms demonstration by a Special Agent on the shooting range in the building. The Special Agent will also answer questions from the audience, even if they are quite stupid.
Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)
The 1-hour tour in the FBI building includes a very arrogant tour guide, the crime laboratories, history exhibit and a live firearms demonstration.
You will enjoy watching people at work in the authentic (yes, we're gullable) laboratories.
According to the guide you will see them investigating real dead bodies if your lucky. Of course we didn't get to see anything spectactular.
The FBI Building. 10th Street and Pennsylvania Ave. This tour is especially popular with children. Led by a friendly FBI guide visitors can view artifacts from the war on crime beginning from the roaring 20's to the present with the end of the tour showing a fire arm demonstration.
