Fisherman's is Inside HUGE Harbor Marine Store

Except for the large sign on the outside of this building, it would not be possible to know that this marine parts store also has a reasonably good snack bar type restaurant inside it, on the east side of the building.

The people that eat here are mostly boat people from the marina, plus a few regulars that drop by (those who don't even have to ask for what they want before they arrive are the regulars!).

While the selection available here isn't huge, there is a variety. They have some pizza slices in a pizza warmer to the right of the cash register, plus some breakfast fare, and the grill makes an assortment of burgers.

About my only complaint with the system is that it does not allow you to tip the wait staff if you use a credit card or debit card because it is really set up for purchasing stuff from the Harbor Marine Store and provides a store receipt rather than a restaurant style receipt. Ask the wait staff to add whatever you want to tip to the receipt before they ring it up.

Favorite Dish: The Steamboat Slough is a fairly nice sized burger and fries for $6.99

Bobby Restaurant: Hawaiian food in Everett

This restaurant is one of the best restaurant in Everett. It is close to our hearts since they serve Hawaiian food!

Guy Fieri of the Food Network came here and tested their food and he endorsed this restaurant for their famous Luau. You can see his pictures on the wall of the restaurant with the owners.

The restaurant is in a small building located down on Hewitt Street in Everett- not a lot of businesses there but people still come here because of its delicious food. Once you get inside the restaurant, you can see people who come here because either they are from Hawaii, originally from Hawaii or have connections in the Hawaiian Islands!

Tables in the restaurant is covered in a glass with Hawaiian quilts in the middle and the top is adorned with silver containers shaped as turtles. There is a vase with faux Hawaiian flowers- anthuriums, orchids and tea leaves. There is a see-through freezer where you can see available choices of Hawaiian can juices: Lilikoi, guava juice, passion fruit, etc. and choices of Hawaiian cakes.

There is a room available for private dining.

Favorite Dish: The $24.00 Hawaiian Plate: Lau lau, Kailua pork, poi, poke, Lomi salmon, macaroni salad and rice.

I love the lau lau and it is steamed the Hawaiian way. This is pork steamed in taro leaves with salt and pepper. It is so good because it is steamed in perfection! It is served with a large plate with a scoop of white boiled rice. The Kailua pork is also very tasty and very delicious.

My husband loved the poke and the lomi salmon.

My daughter Sierra loved the fried rice.

This is a locally-owned steak and seafood restaurant located at the Everett Marina Village.

The restaurant offers the Double R Ranch signature beef and fresh Northwest seafood with a great waterfront view.

I consider this restaurant for fine dining because of its beautiful romantic view!

Favorite Dish: Grilled steak and seafood with Caesar's salad, baked potato and asparagus.

Peking Duck: The cheapest and best Chinese food in Everett!
joiwatani profile photo

3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

joiwatani 1818 reviews

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Everett, Washington because not only the food is cheap, the food is really, really good! The price that you spend for your family to eat out at this restaurant is far cheaper than going to McDonald, Jack in the Box, Wendy's , KFC's, Taco del Mar, Tacos or Subway and or any fast food franchised restaurant.

I rather go to this restaurant for a sit down lunch or dinner with my family rather than going to a fastfood center. The food here is freshly-cooked and the service is really, really good. The waitresses of the restaurant make sure that you are taken cared of.

The restaurant is really small and old but that didn't bother me. The restaurant has Chinese decorations and the tables are already prepared and set for customers. The placemat that they usually use are those paper placemats with the Zodiac Signs on them. As a customer, I always read the zodiac signs and whom I am compatible with. The waitress comes in and ask what kind of drink you want but as usual, there is always a hot jasmine tea in an stainless jar. The waitress always come in a replenish the hot tea.

Most of the family dinners whether a combination dinner or house dinner comes with egg roll, pot stickers, deep fried shrimps, bbq pork, deep fried wings, deep friend wonton, crab rangoon, wrapped chicken, beef skewers. The soup includes either or wonton soup, egg drop soup or hot & sour soup. The bbq pork is served with ketsup, toasted sesame seeds, and wasabi.

This Restaurant has been voted as 2008's Best Place to Eat by Scott German, a local writer of the local newspaper The Herald.

When I have potlucks at work and parties at home, I also call ahead of time and pre-pay and order for their famous fried rice, chow mein, and the sweet and sour pork. When it is time for me to pick-up, the food is nicely wrapped and ready to go!

They also have a free deliver of a $17.00 minimum order. So, when I don't feel like cooking, I order from this restaurant.

The restaurant has also a lounge area which is open every day. Their happy hour is at 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

The restaurant is open Monday to Sunday from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm except on the weekends as it start at 12:00 pm.

Favorite Dish: As a family, we order the Letter D: which means that I have to pay $11.95 per person. However, the food that is being served includes the following: Won Ton Soup, BBQ pork, egg roll, sauteed shrim, Yu-shang scallops, sweet & sour chicken, and pork fried rice.

The soup can be substituted to any of our choice like the egg drop soup which is my favorite. My daughter Sierra always like their Won Ton soup but doesn not eat the dumpling that comes with it. The Won Ton Soup has some spinach leaves on it, green onions, and one dumpling.

We can also substitute the food with deep fried shrimp or almond fried chicken, chow mein or the beef vegetable.

Taco Del Mar: Try the Beef Burrito at Taco del Mar
joiwatani profile photo

3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

joiwatani 1818 reviews

This fastfood restaurant is one among the many chain restaurants in the United States. It caters to people who crave for Mexican food!

The restaurant is small and usually manned by two people only in t-shirts uniform. The small tables with four chairs are colored in blue, red and green. The menus are up above with the prices.

The restaurant is painted with dark green banana leaves and usually have pictures of a fish in mustache in a sombrero sitting on a beach eating a burrito!

The food is really inexpensive and they are being served fast. They are usually served in a rolled tortilla and rolled in an aluminum foil. The food is served with a choice of drinks, usually pop or water, chips and dips. The food is served in a plastic black tray.

You get your own drink and you can choose which dressing you wanted. They also ask you whether you like your food served hot, mild hot or not hot at all.

Favorite Dish: Bean burrito with beef, hot chili sauce, lettuce, cheese, guacamole, onions, olives, tomatoes, and sour cream.

My children's favorites include the following:
Mondo Chicken
Sour Cream Guacamole
Chicken Taco
and kid's meal, Kids' Quesadilla

Bento Factory: Try the Sushi and Teriyaki at Bento Factory
joiwatani profile photo

3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

joiwatani 1818 reviews

This is a new restaurant in the City of Everett. The owners are a Korean Family. They renovated a building on Evergreen Way and made it into a restaurant.

When you are entering the restaurant, you will see a huge "Maneko Nekki" figurine on top of the door. This is a figurine that looks like a cat waving it's hand. It is believed that when you put this cat at your doorsteps, it will bring fortune, good luck and money!

The restaurant is very spacious and very clean. There are flower boxes at the front of the restaurant and parking is not a problem.

The tables have condiments on top with some flower vases. The cashier's counter is almost the focal point of the restaurant and faces the main door. The menus have pictures on them are hanged on top of the cashier with the individual prices of the menu.

There is a sink close to the cashier where eaters go and wash instead of entering into the bathroom. This is kind of neat because it encourages people to wash their hands first before eating.

The owners are usually the cooks and their children are the ones managing the counter.

The plates that they serve meals are very unique as they use the white porcelain rectangular and square type of plates. It is very beautiful and ornate compared to local restaurants that use regular plates and sometimes, plastics ware.

When the food is being served at this restaurant, it comes with very beautiful decoration and very feastful to the eye!

Favorite Dish: Chicken teriyaki with fried goza

The restaurant also serves Beef Teriyaki, Udo soup, misu soup, rolls, beef broccolli, etc.

It is open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm.

Subway

This is another franchised restaurant in the United States. You can find this kind of restaurant anywhere. There are tables where you can sit down and eat. The choices of bread are many from white break to wheat bread. From Italian to parmesan bread. You just pick and choose what kind of stuffing you wanted to be sandwiched on your heated bread. You can either choose a combo which means that it comes with a bag of potato chips and with coke.

Favorite Dish: Their regular foot long sandwich with Parmesan wheat break, slices of beef steak, mozarella cheese, lettuce, cheese, olives, olive oil, hot pepper, sweet onions and tomatoes. Add some chips on the side with a medium size drink with ice!

This is my daughter Rainier's favorite restaurant because she can eat Mexican food! She craves for the tacos. And, so with my younger daughter Sierra. She likes the chesadilla.

The restaurant is Mexican in motiff and so with the aura of the place. This is a chain restaurant so you can find this kind of restaurant anywhere in the United States especially in the northwest. It is found mostly in big cities and university towns where there is a diversed population.

Favorite Dish: I love the soft burrito with a spread of sour cream and guacamole on the corn tortilla. I like the whole beans on it with the cumin-tasting ground beef, olive oil, green chilies, onions, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese and Mexican rice.

The IHOP restaurant on Broadway

There is nothing like eating breakfast at IHop. They have the best pancakes!
When you are like me- just wanting to get out for breakfast- have someone cook for you, just hop in at IHOP. They have the original All-American breakfast: pancakes with Canadian maple syrup, fresh brewed coffee, bacon, scrambled eggs and sausages.

The service is very fast. You don't have to wait that long. The food is excellent and there's a lot of parking.

Favorite Dish: Scrambled eggs, pancakes, bacon and sausages. Add fresh brewed coffee with a little bit of cream and sugar.
