North Cascades National Park is well off the beaten path. You will need a private vehicle or a rental to get here. The nearest airport is probably Bellingham International Airport about 100 miles away.

Highway 20 is the only road access in the park. Lake Chelan has ferry service and there are guided boat tours of Diablo Lake. There is also bus service from Mount Vernon as well as an Amtrak station.
