Smuggler's Landing: Bar and Restaurant with Local Flavor
I was very surprised at how fast the food arrived. However, I was told by the waitress that they try to be reasonably fast with their food because a lot of times people are trying to catch the ferry at the pier next door and therefore are in a rush to get out the door quickly.
There is really a mixture of different environments here. There is a bar and they offer an assortment of drinks. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, and they have a collection of local art on the walls that is for sale.
It is also a place where locals sometimes come as the prices and company are decent. It isn't always the tourist crowd that gathers here.
So, it is one part bar, one part eating establishment, and one part art gallery.
There are two levels to this restaurant, and during busy periods both levels are open. On slow days during the off season, only the upper level is open.
While the restaurant is part of "The Landing" building with several restaurants and other businesses that are positioned over the water, Smugglers Landing isn't one that features a view of the water. However, those that do feature a view of the water are quite a bit more expensive.

The Corner House Resturant: A great salad!
This restaurant is cute and quaint. The inside is a small room with tables bunched up and a bar, but it's a great dining experience. It's located near the other shops, and it's a great place to eat!
Favorite Dish: They have great salads here. It's hard to find a really, really good salad when you're travelling around, and we got a tip from a local to come here for lunch, and it was worth it. The hamburgers are also good.

Crabhouse Restaurant: Pass on this One
What a disappointment! I really expected the best of the best seafood in this area and was really disappointed with the food we had at this place. It was very bland and more what I would expect from a seafood chain restaurant.
Favorite Dish: None
Michael's Divine Dining
Michael's Divine Dining
It is a very cozy place, with good wine and food. Also, there is Michael and Denaye.
See my Travelogue for some photos from Michael*s.
Favorite Dish: Calamari steaks with olive oil, lemon and capers, polenta with leeks and Marscarpone cheese, Caldeirada seafood stew, clam and calamari Arrabiatta Tagliatelle. They also have Valenciana Paella, interesting pizzas like Wild Mushroom and Manchego, and a Tapa Bar menu.
Chestnut Cottage: Local Eatery
Small town restraunt pretty good food but a little overpriced. Breakfast and lunch only open from 7-3PM daily.
