Space Needle, Seattle

An amazing night out you will never forget. Under a Spiegeltent, eat excellent food by chef Tom Douglas while being mesmerized by theatrics/circus performances. It is well worth the price. Pure magic!

Dress Code: Dress-up tonight!

Sitting underneath the Space Needle this is a great place to catch the fireworks on New Years Eve. Element was remodeled and reopened in 2002 from it's old disco decor during the early days as "Polyesters". This nighclub is open almost everyday of the week with each night having a different theme. Of course the best night is Friday with headlining trance, house, breaks DJ's from around the world. Cover is usually between $10 and $15 (they often offer the lesser price if you arrive before 11pm). Lines are not an issue here but can depend on which DJ it headlining.

The decor is modern with a zen flare upstairs with bamboo curtains and wooden tables. There are several VIP areas that have different themes to them an can be reserved by emailing ahead of time.

Dress Code: It says "dress code required" but this is very loosely, if at all, enforced. Think nice shirt/shoes and jeans.

Going up the Space Needle during the day would be great, unless it was cloudy, and it was during my entire trip. So, I decided to go up the Needle at night, what a great idea! The city looked amazing from up there, you could see lights continuing to the horizon, beautiful. I believe the Needle is open until Midnight.

Dress Code: If you decide to eat in the restaurant, beware it is very fancy and you should be adequetly dressed for the occation, not neccesarily a coat and tie, but a dress shirt and tie minimum.

Here is another photo of the Space Needle that I took. I just wanted to mention, that what seemed like a big thing to do in Seattle at night was to go see a show. I'm not exactly sure what types of shows these were, but I think they were performances, like plays or musicals, all over the city. Plus, a lot of people were going to strip clubs and such.

One of the nicest trips to the Space Needle was at night, can see the lights of Seattle. It's different view of the town.

Try a few beers around town.

Walk on the pier at night to see the sunset it's also Romantic !
