This is primarily a seafood restaurant, and I have been there before for dinner, and it was good. But, they have a great brunch on the weekends! (Saturday, too - not just Sunday.)
The restaurant has a nice ambience and an excellent wait staff, and it's proximity to the Market makes it easy for visitors to find.
Favorite Dish: I had Huevos Rancheros, which were fancy, but good. The bacon was highly recommended, so we ordered a side, and it was FANTASTIC!
If you like a nice Bloody Mary with a little zip to it, this is the place for you. My friends and I agreed that this was the best Mary we'd had in Seattle.
Brunch #2: I had Poached Eggs w/crab, spinich (which I picked off) and chipotle hollandaise on an English muffin - basically a version of Eggs Benedict that wasn't called Eggs Benedict. The dish was quite good. Probably better than the Huevos. Also had mimosas this time, and they were delicious.
Etta's is a great restaurant with deliciously prepared fresh seafood in the northwest style. It's one of Chef Tom Douglas's trio of award-winning eateries and has won accolades for its intriguing dishes. Etta's is located right off the waterfront, very near Pike Place Market. It's a very romantic and atmospheric spot, great for special occasions!
Favorite Dish: I love the salmon dishes. :)
Many! Dahlia Lounge, Icon Grill, Palace Kitchen, Etta's = nice, Tini Biggs = martinis and cigars, Two Bells = cool hang out but low key, Axis = nice for drinks, Flying Fish = excellent FISH!, Wild Ginger = get the 7 flavored beef and the lamb... almost anyplace in Belltown. Lots of cool places for whatever mood you are in.
