February- March rolls in and the Seattle Roadster Show comes to town! This is a truly excellent venue to attend, especially if you love to see the older vintage autos & custom creations. What makes this one so special is that it is the very first car show this year, and the owners come from all over the nation to compete and show off their handiwork & artful restoration skills. What a treat!
One aspect of automotive customizing is the addition of flame effects. Hence the term, "hotrod" is born. Now, the motor and drivetrain is modified as well to produce more power and speed, but it is the flame show that really sets these cars off! This '32 Ford Coupe has the most realistic looking flames, but the artist used computer graphics. Don't get the idea it is a decal, because the image still had to be applied with a brush with human hands. Gorgeous!
The most beautiful and exotic vehicles, just to make the ordinary car buff drool! These pics do no justice to the phenomenal paint jobs on these autos. This Mustang has a "Mirage Paint" that changes colors from all directions. Very appealing!
