Here's the inside observation deck at the Space Needle. I suppose it's a good place to be if it's windy or cold. There are also informational displays of the surrounding viewpoints.
You simply can't visit Seattle without going to the space needle. Take in the view of the city from the top.
I decided I'd go up in the space needle. You certainly can see Seattle. The ride up in a glass front elevator is like an amusement park ride.
I believe the tower was built for the Seattle world's fare in 1962, measuring 184 meters it towers Seattle and provides you with a great view of the city and the sound.
