OUR UNDER 18 FLAME BASEBALL TOUR INCLUDED AN EXTENDED STAY WITH THE BOYS BEING HOSTED BY FAMILIES IN THIS AREA. THE FAMILIES WERE EXCEPTIONALLY WELCOMING TO NOT ONLY THE PLAYERS BUT THEIR FAMILIES AS WELL. THEY COULD NOT DO ENOUGH FOR US BY ORGANISING GET TOGETHERS FOR MEALS AT THEIR HOMES AND ALSO ADVISING US OF PLACES TO SEE. THE DISPLAY GAMES OF BASEBALL WERE WELL ORGANISED . WE TRAVELLED IN THEIR SUMMER BREAK WHICH MEANT SCHOOLS WERE CLOSED BUT THEY STILL ORGANISED THESE GAMES TO BE PLAYED AT SCHOOL GROUNDS. I WOULD RECOMEND ANYONE WANTING TO TRAVEL TO THIS AREA FOR THE BOYS TO BE BILLETTED OUT. WE FELT VERY SAFE FOR THE BOYS AND THEIR FAMILIES.

Equipment: WE TRAVELLED WITH OUR OWN BASEBALL KIT WHICH INCLUDED ALL BATS AND OUR OWN BALLS.

WE FOUND THAT THE LOCAL SPORTS STORES WERE EXTREMELY CHEAP COMPARED TO THE PRICES WE ARE CHARGED IN AUSTRALIA FOR BASEBALL EQUIPMENT.
