by sJanice Do NOT visit The Big Easy concert house, even though they bring in a lot of good entertainment. They will take your money and evict you from their facility for the most ridiculous reasons. I know of numerous folks who have been kicked out of the facility for standing in the wrong place, leaning on the rail, dancing and carrying their drink into the bathroom. The security guards outnumber the guests and they are watching for you to do anything wrong and they are counting how many drinks each and every guest has had at all times. It's a great place to go if you want to party. They have nights where they have great drink prices and, of course, there is always a lady's night. Leave a Comment Theme: NightclubAddress: In the Valley

What is nightlife? There is not much nightlife here except for the usual bar scene. Mostly college students and working people. It's a very sad thing for a city of this size. Hopefully, this will change in the future but I am not betting on it.
People here don't dress up...if they do it's a rare thing. Anything really goes. Leave a Comment Theme: OtherDirections: Mostly in the downtown area.

Spokane nightlife isn't exactely booming, but there are enough clubs and bars open late to keep most people entertained. Some of the better restaurants stay open until midnight on weekends also. With that said, Spokane is hardly New York when it comes to nightlife. Leave a Comment Theme: Other

Ella's Supper Club is a restaurant and lounge featuring live jazz music and good food. You can go early in the afternoon for appetizers and drinks during happy hour, or stay for dinner and live jazz music later in the evening. The walls feature portraits of famous jazz musicians. One is of Nora Jones, who I'm told did an impromptu performance at Ella's during a visit to Spokane. Ella's is also known for projecting black and white silent movies onto a wall across the street for you to watch out the window. It's a quaint touch, though no one seems to actually watch the movies. It's a small place, so seats fill up fast and the noise can drown out conversation. You can always go downstairs to the quiet Library Room for drinks and billiards if Ella's is too busy and loud. My only complaint is that the service wasn't very good the night I was there because the waitress seemed pretty inexperienced and overwhelmed. However, it's possible that was a fluke since I've heard a lot of rave reviews from regulars. I still have to recommend it because it's one of the classier places available in Spokane for a night out.
Like most places in the Northwest, there is no strict dress code. But you would be encouraged to at least wear business casual. Some people were dressed to go clubbing after, while others were dressed in formal evening wear.

Both artsy cafe and pool hall. Located downtown next to the Montvale Hotel this place has couples talking over wine, friends shooting pool and local art on the walls . With massive windows looking out to the street outside it is great for people watching from both sides of the glass. They serve up good beer and play a good mix of music like classic rock and new alternative artists. This place is very bohemian. Sorry, you must be 21. To start out the night eat a good brick oven pizza next door in the basement of the Montvale. The restaurant is called "The Catacombs Pub" great food reasonable price and after dinner shoot some pool and enjoy a drink.
Of course not. Leave a Comment Theme: Eating and DrinkingAddress: Far West BIlliards 1001 W. 1st. SpoakaneDirections: DowntownWebsite: http://www.farwestbilliards.com Other Contact: http://www.catacombspub.com/

Currently this is about the best club in Spokane. It has a coyote ugly theme with the girls dancing on the bars about every 30 minutes. The club is divided into two sections. One side has pool tables and places to sit and have a drink. The other side has dancing and a bull to ride.
I don't know of any dress code that is enforced Theme: NightclubAddress: On Sprague in DowntownDirections: Take Division exit, turn left onto Sprague and it is a few blocks down on the left
