 Carmanah Says:   I remember it being a warm summer evening and discovering the fields of wildflowers nextdoor to our hotel. It was gorgeous, as you can see from this picture! There's something about the smell of a field of wild flowers in the summer that makes me a very happy person! 

 Carmanah Says:  Take time to visit the shops along the main street. Most stores have the old-fashioned western false fronts, and the wooden boardwalk sidewalks. Most, if not all of the shops are local businesses - you won't find the Gap or Nike here, thankfully!
