This is great exercise even if you are not very good at it. The idea is to throw the disc as far and accurately as you can on the first throw and then to get to the "greens" area on subsequent throws. And finally to "net the hole" by hitting the chained platform.
Most of the throws are in the open areas of the park but a few of the "holes" have been purposely shoved into strange locations, such as the crook of a tree.
There is an official Huntington Area Disc Golf Club who actually set all the "holes" up in the park and you can join them if you wish for $10 per year (Bragan@huntingtondiscgolf.com) or you can just go to the park with your own Frisbee and play.
