The official name of the airport is Milton J Ferguson Field at Tri-State Airport. It is readily accessed by getting of Exit 1 of I-64 and heading south of route US52 to Airport Road.
The website below is a good source of info about the airport, flight schedules and the security screening process every passenger must endure. Be sure to get to the boarding area about one hour before flight time to get through all the check points.
The airport has a limited cafeteria. You can get taxi service to and from the airport. The major car rental companies have services at this airport too.
The main commercial carriers that fly here are:
ComAir (a Delta affiliate); US Airways Express (owned by US Air); Allegiant Air
Airport is at 1449 Airport Road
easy to get around
Huntington is layed out very nicely in mostly a grid pattern.
Avenues run east and west; streets and roads run north and south.
Most of the the streets are numbered in sequence from 1st to 30th east and 1st to 28th west.
Some of the avenues are numbered from 1st (at the river) south to 13th (at Ritter park).
I wish all cities would be so considerate of tourists.
There is one section of 3rd Ave and Adams Ave that is one-way but that is no big deal. You just go past the street you want and double back on the next corner.
