Start with the awesome interior with it's great river view, add the open display kitchen and serving line that keeps things lively and just sit back and experience some of the best food ever! [That's saying something coming from a real 'foodie'!]
The Ahi Tuna Salad Appetizer was unique and incredibly fresh! The Tavern Wedge salad was the best I've ever had. . . next we had a special which was a filet with roasted red potatoes with the most incredible gouda cheese sauce imaginable. It's been 5 days since my visit and I'm still thinking about the food! The menu was so creative, had to ask server what his favorite dish was - - - - a great tip when you can't decide!
We had tried the Downtown Grill and Brewery the night before and the best thing I could say was the food was . . . . . to be honest, it didn't even rise to mediocre! The salad greens were wilty and brown , , , , the peppers in the steak fajita were so old they really didn't qualify as peppers. Wouldn't return!
Also had a drink at Callahan's at the river . . . . . menu seemed boring and predictable, so for an experience that's definitely a notch above and unforgettable, head a few steps over to the Riverside Tavern.

We do things differently in the South and that includes Jazz. Come to Cha Cha's to hear world renowned Jazz pianist and composer Donald Brown on Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm. There's plenty of seating but you will want to get there early.
Dress Code: It's a bar and restaurant- nothing crazy?!?
